Tonight we’re playing The Sesh in Hull, get yourselves down, can’t say no to free entry. Then come party hard with us at the after show party at The Piper.

The finished product, sealed and ready to send out. It’s been a long and sometimes arduous journey but it’s been worth it and we’re all really pleased with the finished product. A thank you to everyone who’s helped us so far, you know who you are.
Now we’re starting work on the album, got a lot of new exciting material to work with.
Keep your eyes pealed for the hard copy of the EP, here’s a link to stream the EP for free.

The case folded down and ready to wax seal. Creating the wax seals is done by simply melting special thick wax over the ribbon and then sealing it with the ‘K’ stamp.

The black fold out case which covers the E.P. These will go out with E.P’s we send in the post. The case folds together and is tied together with ribbon and wax sealed to keep it extra safe in the post! We’ll keep you updated as to when these will become available to order.

The typed up lyrics page. In order for all the lyrics to fit onto the one smaller folded sheet, we had to print the lyrics onto 2 sheets of A3, which was then scanned and resized. The lyrics sheet folds down to create the inside sleeve for the front cover which can be seen through the cut-out on the CD case.

A collection of prototypes, making the cover for the E.P. A copy of the bass drum skin, the E.P cover and a prototype E.P. with cut-out and inside sleeve. Menthol cigarettes keeping us sane during the creative process.

A collection of prototypes, making the cover for the EP. Thanks to Sarah Duffill for the hours and hours she’s spent slaving over making the original design work as an E.P cover. The effort won’t be forgotten.

Writing out the lyrics sheet.
We tried a few different ways of presenting the lyrics for the booklet, this hand written copy hasn’t made the final E.P. but the memories of writing all the lyrics out will haunt Matt forever.

This is the video we’ve been promising for the past couple of days. The song is called ‘Twisted Face’ and will be the 5th track on the EP.
We shot the video way back in April on the day of the Royal Wedding, in our friends basement. It was the first time we’d played as a whole band, in front of anyone, so the whole day was a surreal, exhausting, but ultimately enjoyable experience.
Big thanks to Mike Connelly of Mahon James films for shooting and tirelessly editing the video, thanks to the residents of Winstanley Terrace, without whom this couldn’t have been possible. Finally to any-one that came down and ‘celebrated’ the Royal Wedding with us, thank you for sharing our first ‘live performance’.
Enjoy,
Kali
